We have contributed to Boston's leadership in biomedical research and commercial biotechnology for more than 50 years. The organization has been the source of extraordinary discovery since its founder, Dr. E. J. Cohn, and his colleagues first fractionated blood into its constituent parts. Today we are recognized worldwide for our breakthroughs that increase the body's ability to fight disease and to heal.
The primary mission of our researchers is to advance human health by discovering new knowledge about immunology and inflammation. We train postdoctoral research fellows for the next generation of academic and industrial leaders in biomedicine. We have a very active program to transfer technology to industry for the development of medical treatments and cures. The Institute is affiliated with Harvard Medical School, and our senior researchers hold academic appointments in the medical school.
The excitement of scientific discovery is palpable in our 19 investigator-led laboratories. If your goal is to work at the frontiers of biomedical inquiry with world-class colleagues who are passionately committed to excellence, you should consider the us. You can find current job opportunities in research, administration, and technical classifications below.
